Abstract

This study aimed to examine the implementation of satisfaction surveys in the Jordanian Ministry of Education from the perspectives of teachers and students, including their level of engagement, reasons for reluctance to participate, perceptions of their importance, and future suggestions for improving participation. The study adopted a descriptive survey design, and a questionnaire was administered to a sample of (455) teachers and (1,019) students from public schools in Jordan. The results indicated that the implementation of satisfaction surveys, reasons for reluctance to participate, and awareness of their importance and usefulness were at a moderate level, while future expectations and suggestions for improving participation were rated very highly. The most prominent suggestions included strengthening feedback mechanisms, simplifying survey tools, and linking results to clear improvement plans. The findings also revealed no statistically significant differences in students’ responses according to gender and educational stage, or in teachers’ responses according to gender and school level. The study recommends improving satisfaction survey procedures and utilizing their results to enhance educational quality.
