Abstract

This study examined the relationship between digital addiction and burnout among married teachers in Jordan using the Digital Addiction Scale and the Burnout Scale. The sample consisted of 449 married teachers. The results showed a significant positive relationship between digital addiction and burnout, with both variables reported at moderate levels. Significant differences were found in digital addiction and burnout according to several demographic variables. Digital addiction was higher among males, teachers with bachelor’s and master’s degrees, those with 6–10 years of experience, scientific specializations, and middle income levels, while no differences were found based on years of marriage or place of residence. Burnout levels differed according to years of marriage, years of experience, income level, specialization, and educational qualification, whereas no significant differences were observed for gender or place of residence.
