Abstract
The study aims to identify the predictive ability of mental alertness with emotional balance among secondary school students in public schools in Jerash Governorate. The study sample consisted of (470) male and female students at the secondary level, of whom: (270) males and 200 females). To achieve the objectives of the study, the mental alertness scale and the emotional stability scale were used. The predictive descriptive approach was used, the results showed that the level of mental alertness among secondary school students was average, and the level of emotional balance was moderate, and the results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences between the arithmetic means of mental alertness and emotional balance among secondary school students due to gender, and the presence of Statistically significant differences between the arithmetic mean of mental alertness and emotional balance among secondary school students due to specialization (scientific).
