Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the quality of marital life and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder among women in the cities of Amman and Irbid and the relationship between them, and whether the levels of the marital life quality and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder differ according to the variables of age and educational level. The study sample consisted of (100) wives who visited Jannati clinics (Amman and Irbid branch). To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher developed a scale of the quality of marrital life and a scale for obsessive-compulsive personality disorder, and the researcher used the descriptive correlative approach. The results of the study showed that the level of quality of married life and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder among married women in Jordan was moderate, as well as a negative correlation with statistical significance between the quality of married life and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder.The study also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the average quality of married life due to age and educational level, except for the physical, health, and sexual dimensions.
