Abstract
This study aimed to identify the impact of the educational counselor who received the Queen Rania Award for Excellence in Education on the school community in light of certain variables. The descriptive analytical approach was used, with a sample of (350) respondents from the school community. A study instrument was developed, and its psychometric properties were verified. After conducting statistical analyses, the results showed a significant impact of the distinguished educational counselor on the school community, with an average performance score of (4.24) and a percentage of (84.8%). The results also indicated statistically significant differences in the average responses of the study sample across different tools. The differences in the "Distinguished Educational Counselor" tool were attributed to the variables of (region and school type). Post-hoc comparisons based on the region variable revealed differences between the northern and central regions in favor of the northern region, as well as between the northern and southern regions in favor of the northern region. Comparisons based on school type showed differences between primary and secondary levels, favoring the primary level. In light of the study’s findings, it is recommended to enhance the role of significant educators in transferring the impact of excellence to the elements of the teaching and learning process.
