Abstract
This study aimed to explore the level of family adjustment and its relationship emotional balance among juvenile delinquents in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. To achieve the objectives of the study, the current study was applied to a sample of (218) juvenile delinquents in residing in shelters managed by the Ministry of Social Development. Where the study scales were developed, namely: the family adjustment scale , and the emotional balance scale, and the psychometric properties of the scales were verified. The results of the study indicated that there is a positive, statistically significant relationship between family adjustment and emotional balance among juvenile delinquents in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. In light of the current results, some recommendations were made, including: increasing attention to the category of juvenile delinquents so that they can be helped psychologically and socially, and conducting more studies that deal with the problems prevailing among juvenile delinquents
