Abstract
The current study aimed to identify the midlife crisis and its relationship to emotional divorce among married teachers and whether there are statistically significant differences attributed to the variables: gender, age, number of years of marriage, and educational level. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the midlife crisis scale (Al-Tarawneh, 2014), and the emotional divorce scale (Al-Muqabla, 2017). The results of the study showed that the level of emotional divorce among married teachers is medium, and the degree of prevalence of midlife crisis is medium. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the degree of prevalence of midlife crisis among married teachers due to the variables of sex, number of years of marriage and educational level, and there was a statistically significant difference in the degree of prevalence in all domains except for self-related problems in favor of the age group (40-49). ) year.
